Fluoride back to Espanola

Fluoride levels in the Town of Espanola’s water supply have returned to normal following repairs at the water treatment plant.
Public Health Sudbury & Districts says residents are once again receiving optimal amounts of fluoride after a period of disruption caused by technical issues with the fluoridation system.
The agency states optimizing the levels of fluoride in drinking water systems is a safe and effective way to prevent tooth decay and promote oral health.
Still with the story, residents are receiving water directly from the plant while the water tank is being cleaned.
Residents are asked to keep their water usage to a minimum until the water tank is filled once again and brought back on-line next week, June 13th.
