United Way names new executive director

United Way Centraide of North East Ontario has announced the appointment of Cory Roslyn as its new Executive Director, effective June 17th.
Board president Doug Conroy says Roslyn brings more than 15 years of experience with the Elizabeth Fry Society of Northeastern Ontario, having served as the Executive Director for the last 8 years where she championed social equity, strengthened regional partnerships, and led with compassion and purpose.
Her work has focused on improving outcomes for vulnerable and marginalized populations throughout northeastern Ontario.
Outgoing Executive Director Mary Lou Hussak, who has led the organization for the last six years, says it has been a privilege to serve northeastern Ontario communities and has confidence she is leaving knowing the organization is in good hands.
