After exhausting all available options at this time, the Emergency Department at the Thessalon Site of the North Shore Health Network (NSHN) will be temporarily closing on the following dates due to physician shortages: From 8:00 am on Friday, April 25 and reopening at 8:00 am on Sunday, April 27.
The North Shore Health Network continues to investigate all possible options to provide safe access to care. Efforts to find coverage are ongoing, and should a physician be secured, NSHN will reverse the closure and update the community as soon as possible.
