The Northern Ontario Curling Association Playdowns are underway in Espanola.
The event, hosted by the Espanola Curling Club, officially opened with a ceremony last night, to welcome the ten men’s and five women’s teams vying for first place.
The public can attend today and tomorrow for free, $5 for a day past for Saturday and Sunday finals. (children under 12 are free)
The winners will represent Northern Ontario at the nationals in November.
