Seizure of cocaine and fentanyl in Wikwemikong

Two people from Wikwemikong are facing several charges following a drug bust.
The Wikwemikong Police Service says yesterday officers executed a search warrant on a resident on Gasongi Lane seizing suspected cocaine and fentanyl with an approximate street value of $10,000, a quantity of cash and other evidence of drug trafficking.
An adult male and adult female from Wikwemikong are charged with numerous criminal and drug trafficking related charges and are to appear in Wikwemikong Court on April 22nd.
The two adults have been charged with:
•Trafficking in a Schedule I Drug Cocaine and Fentanyl
•Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Schedule I drug Cocaine and Fentanyl
•Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.00
•Forcible Confinement
