The Blind River Beavers kicked off 2025 with a couple of wins.
The team was victorious over the Espanola Paper Kings 9 to 1 in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League action Saturday at the Blind River Community Centre.
The Beavers also went on to a 3-2 triumph over the Soo Eagles Sunday at the Blind River Community Centre.
And, the Espanola Paper Kings got their second shutout of the season, in a 2-0 road win versus the Soo Thunderbirds, Sunday afternoon at John Rhodes Community Centre.
