Lions and supporters help Santa wrap it up THIS THURSDAY …

Santa does need some help at times, and Espanola has some of the best “Santa Helpers” around. The Agnes Michon Lions Toy Drive is in full swing, and here is how you can help.
Tanner’s has their traditional Angel Tree which is loaded with angels. Pick an Angel, buy a gift to fit the Angel, and drop off your donation into the bin beside the tree.
At the Hart Store, you can purchase a gift at the checkout and once again add it to the bin.
Giant Tiger customers can donate at the cashier and receive a tree ornament or decoration. A large quantity of toys will be purchased and given to the drive.
Tip a Teller at the T.D. Bank. There is a tree in the lobby at the Legion where gifts can be dropped off. Check the times the Legion is open.
For all you knitters out there, feel free to hang your knitted mitts, toques, scarves, socks etc. on the Tree of Warmth located at the Family Health Care Team, or call 869-5798 for pick up.
Now, all these wonderful gifts have to be wrapped. Keep Thursday, December 19th open. Please come to the Legion at 10:00 a.m. with scissors, and put your wrapping skills to work. This year there are just over 200 kids on Santa’s list and we want every kid to have presents under the tree.
Again, thanks go out to all businesses and individuals who help make Christmas better for so many of our kids. Small town….huge heart!
