OTF grant for Mount Dufour upgrade to septic system

Local governmental representatives and Mount Dufour volunteers met with Algoma-Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha last Friday, to mark the completion of an overhaul to the septic system that is vital to the continued operation of the ski site.
Mantha says the facility received a $140,600 Capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to upgrade the system, which had been originally installed in the 1970s.
He adds it now also meets all current building codes and environmental standards.
The Mount Dufour Ski Area is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing excellence in alpine skiing and snowboarding.
