A second person has died from a weekend fire in the Parry Sound area. The 62-year-old woman died in hospital after being injured in the house fire early Sunday morning. A third victim remains in hospital in serious condition. Investigators found the body of an 87-year-old woman after the fire was out. The Fire Marshall’s Office and the crime unit from the Parry Sound OPP are continuing to investigate the cause. Meanwhile a fire at an empty Parry Sound business also on Sunday was not criminal in nature.
