The Elliot Lake chamber of commerce has just celebrated the 25th anniversary of its Excellence in Business Awards. The chamber recognized several businesses including Hi Rail Leasing with its President’s Award for economic development. Hi Rail is looking at more expansion after recently hiring five people locally. Getting the Service Excellence Award is Elliot Lake Jewellers and the recipients of the Red Briffet Award for Community Involvement is the Elliot Lake Wildcats hockey team.
