Hydro One has planned a power outage for Elliot Lake.
According to the release, hydro crews will be replacing a transformer along with the associated equipment at the Elliot Lake Transmission Station.
A week from this Sunday, on October 6th, the utility will shut down the grid from 7 am to 1 pm to complete the work with just over 6,500 customers affected.
Hydro One customers are being notified via an automated phone call.
