The final schedule for celebrating Elliot Lake as Kraft Hockeyville 2024 has been released including visits with the Stanley Cup.
The prestigious trophy will be presented at Elliot Lake Secondary School this Thursday at a closed school assembly and the following day at the local fire station for first responders and their families.
These are invitation only events, but the public will have their opportunity Friday afternoon from 3 pm to 6pm, during the Community Celebration at the Collins Hall.
The most revered trophy in hockey will be on display and people can have their photos taken with it.
NHL Alumni Andrew Ference and Bryan Trottier will also sign autographs.
The big day is Sunday with the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins hosting morning practices followed by the pre-season game at 7 pm at the Sudbury Community Arena.
