There’s been a fatal mining accident in Sudbury. A worker at the Nickel Rim South Mine has died after machinery fell on him. The mine is owned by Glencore. Police, Mine Mill union officials, company and Ministry of Labour personnel are investigating the accident. The death took place yesterday and all work at the mine is cancelled until further notice. The name of the miner won’t be released until his next of kin are notified.
