There’s good news with the Pearson Plaza in Elliot Lake. Construction material has arrived and crews are erecting pre-fab walls. Mayor Dan Marchisella says the material was expected and crews made sure the site was ready for construction by paving the land. The mayor says up to now, progress has appeared slow because underground workings had to be installed. But with the ground paved and walls going up, he says people will see daily changes at the plaza which is scheduled to open next spring.
