Algoma residents can now start getting their flu shots. Algoma Public Health has several clinics in the district where people can get the vaccine. Elliot Lake and Blind River area residents will have to call a toll free number to make an appointment. That number is 1-800-469-2449. Once you call that number and say where you live, you’ll be told where to get your shots. The flu shots will be administered weekdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Wear a short-sleeved shirt and arrive 10 minutes before your appointment.
