Espanola kicks off its annual Pumpkin and Fibre Arts Festival tonight. The opening celebration is the unveiling of the coral reef project that quite a few artisans in the community spent weeks creating. That’s at 7:00pm this evening at the rec complex. Events tomorrow include a pumpkin carving contest, the installation of the fibre arts coral reef and quilting demonstrations. This is the fourth year for the annual fall festival.
