ParticipACTION supported by Novo Nordisk has announced its finalists for its annual June country-wide Community Challenge and two Northern Ontario communities are on the list.
Espanola and Timmins are representing Northern Ontario as part of the 50 finalists for participating municipalities across Canada.
Individuals and organizations banded together to take part in different athletics including walking, running, cycling, hiking and more.
The overall winner of the $100,000, as well as provincial and territorial winners will be announced the week of July 22nd.
