The Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre is hiring from within to fill the position of chief executive officer. Chief nursing officer Nicole Haley is the new top executive at the facility. Haley has been with the local hospital since 2004. She started her health career 24 years ago as a nurse and slowly moved into management over the years. Haley replaces Ray Hunt who is moving on to become the CAO of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Sudbury.
