Elliot Lake council meetings closer to internet broadcasts

By the end of the year, anyone can watch Elliot Lake council meetings over the internet.  Council has signed an agreement with Avolution Multi Media to install new A-V equipment in the council chambers with internet capabilities.  The firm is the same one that outfitted the White Mountain arts building for the mall collapse inquiry.  Mayor Dan Marchisella says the chamber will have four cameras offering different angles.  The goal is to stream 25 meetings a year and that will include closed captioning.  An addition to the programming is a person watching the post recording of the council meeting the next day can fast forward to any point in the meeting.
