The Green Party candidate in Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing says there are unique ways to create jobs under FedNor.  Calvin John Orok says it’s one thing to give federal money to a wind mill project in the north.  What he wants to know is where do wind mills proposed for the north come from and can residents of Northern Ontario build them.   Orok would like to see FedNor fund these kind of projects as opposed to someone claiming to create jobs in the north when really all it amounts to is another sales pitch for money.    Orok also questions why Parry Sound – Muskoka is part of the FedNor boundary when it has little to do with the north.  Orok is challenging New Democrat incumbent Carol Hughes for her seat.  Hughes is also facing challenges from Tory Andre Robichaud and Heather Wilson of the Liberals.
