The NDP aren’t letting up on the by-election scandal in Sudbury. Now the MPP for Timmins – James Bay, Gilles Bisson, is dragging Glenn Thibeault’s name into the dispute. Thibeault is the former federal Sudbury New Democrat who jumped ship to run for the Liberals provincially in Sudbury. Bisson wants to know if the Premier talked to Thibeault about what was about to happen with the nomination process in Sudbury. High-ranking Liberals asked Andrew Olivier not to go after the nomination so Thibeault could have it. It’s alleged Olivier would get a job or appointment from the Liberals if he played ball. The OPP have charged one person in connection with the allegation.
