Just before school ended, a Grade 8 student at Markstay Public School donated an iPad he won to the Northern Cancer Foundation. Andrew Dominick won the iPad at the Sudbury Regional Heritage Fair. Instead of keeping it, he asked the cancer foundation to give it to a deserving child in Northern Ontario. Andrew is an honour student at Markstay and in addition to science, he was also involved in a variety of sports and the school’s leadership club.
