Numbers are in and more than $1,000 was raised in an Espanola hockey fundraiser for a PET scanner. Members of a local cancer chapter raised just more than $1,100 by selling fabric butterflies at a game between the Express and Blind River Beavers. The scanner, once it’s bought, will be housed in Sudbury but will serve the region.
