Regional chief to make health top priority

We could be hearing tough words from Ontario’s Regional Chief later this week on the status of health among Aboriginal people.  Isadore Day says many reserves cope with high suicide rates and violence and the children live in third-world conditions.  He says this needs to change because current conditions affect the entire health care system across Canada.  Day says First Nation health will become his top priority and it’s his goal to let the public know how bad it is on many reserves.
