A young woman from the North Shore corridor is hoping to launch a music career with a song she wrote and sings.
Heidi Meier of Massey released her single, Numb, on iTunes earlier this month.
The 21-year-old, who works as a tech at Blissful Aesthetics in Espanola to pay the bills, says she wants to eventually have a career in music.
She says growing up, she struggled with self-image and the inability to properly express herself, so she turned to music.
Meier adds she is self-published for now and is working on releasing new music soon with the hope of eventually making it a full-time career.
Her song is available on all streaming services and can be purchased digitally on iTunes.
