An annual tradition looking back in time will focus on trains this year.
The Old Mill Heritage Centre hosts their popular annual History Day every summer.
This year, the event will share the history of trains on Manitoulin Island with Jib Turner at “History Day in Kagawong”.
Turner will talk about the vital role the rail played in the growth of the Island including how without it, the iconic Swing Bridge in Little Current would not be continuing to provide the only motorized access 110 years after it was built as a railway.
The Matinee will be at 3:30 pm, the evening show at 7:30 on Thursday, August 10th at the Park Centre.
