East Algoma OPP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver or owner of a vehicle travelling on Highway 17 in Bruce Mines back on January 20th where a 36-year-old woman was killed.
Constable Bev Gauthier says the fatal collision took place shortly after 9 pm adding investigators are looking for a vehicle, believed to be a 2016 – 2018 red Chevrolet Silverado, possibly with a crew or double cab, with a black, red, and white snowmobile in the bed of the pickup truck (possibly a Polaris Indy).
She adds the driver is described as a stocky male, wearing a long blue sleeve shirt.
Gauthier says if someone was in the area and rendered assistance at the time of the collision or has any information, they can contact the police.
