Veterans sought for cannabis study

The Royal Canadian Legion is supporting a study by a Canadian university looking into veterans use of cannabis to treat pain.

Dr. Feng Chang’s Team at the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy is working on a research project which will provide opportunities for Canadian veterans and Canadian Armed Force Members, to share medical cannabis self-education needs, preferences, and experience.

They are currently seeking veterans or members with pain existing for at least three months that have used, are using, or are interested in using medical cannabis to help manage their chronic pain.

Veterans can take part in completing a 15-minute online survey.
