GM named for new Elliot Lake hockey team

The new general manager of the NOJHL’s newest hockey team in Elliot Lake is Todd Stencil. Stencil is no stranger to junior hockey having played and coached the sport in the north. Stencil now has a hiring committee in place to help him put together a coaching staff. In addition, the team name will be announced sometime over the summer. The community was left without a hockey team when the Elliot Lake Bobcats moved to Cochrane in the off season.
