Cambrian College hosts High School Business Case Competition

High school students from Espanola and Greater Sudbury, over 60 in all, took part in Cambrian College’s first-ever High School Business Case Study competition held this week.

The Dean of the Schools of Business, IT, and Media Art & Design, Dr. Parvinder Arora, says the competition was a great way for students to experience the possibilities of working the world of business, not only analyzing a business case, but problem-solving and coming up with creative solutions.

She adds the students, set up in teams of four, competed for eight $500 scholarships provide by KPMG with two Sudbury school teams taking top honours.

Dr. Arora adds the inaugural event was such a success, it will be now hosted as an annual gathering hosted by Cambrian College.
