The Moose 99.3 FM’s annual Radiothon to raise funds for the Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation has nearly hit the one-third mark.
When the partners announced their “It’s In Your Blood” campaign to raise funds for new lab equipment in the Spring, The Espanola Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39 kicked off the campaign with a $10,000 donation.
This Tuesday, the hospital’s auxiliary made a $19,000 donation to the cause from its sales and fundraisers held over the last year.
The radiothon will be held on Friday, December 2nd with the goal of raising $90,000 for two pieces of vital equipment for the lab.
Not only will the station be taking pledges from the public, but volunteers will also be at Tanner’s Your Independent Grocers bagging groceries and collecting donations.
