Sagamok-Anishnawbek First Nation is under a hold and secure order while police search for a man they consider dangerous.
According to a release by Anishinabek Police Service, officers are being assisted by the local OPP in finding a man following what’s being called a serious incident yesterday morning where the man fled the scene.
According to police, there are concerns he could be armed with possibly a knife and/or crossbow.
The police say 31-year-old Ian Nahmiwan is described as Indigenous, five foot, eight inches tall, around 168 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone having contact with this offender or information in regards to their whereabouts is asked to contact the Anishinabek Police Service immediately.
