East Algoma OPP lay charges in airport break-in

An arrest has been made in connection to a break-in at the Elliot Lake airport that occurred just over a month ago.

East Algoma OPP Constable Phil Young says a man was arrested in connection to the break-in at the airport last Friday.

He says police were called on September 11th with a person on video seen entering several buildings in the overnight hours and stealing items.

Young says the man was known to police and he was found in the Markstay-Warren area after a stolen vehicle occurrence last week.
