Workplace Safety North hosting free mental health training

October is Healthy Workplace Month so Workplace Safety North is hosting a series of sessions throughout the month with a focus on mental health.

Elisha Malette, a health and safety specialist with certification from the Canadian Mental Health Association says she will join in with two other colleagues to host the series in Sudbury, Timmins and North Bay.

She adds the sessions are all in-person, not virtual so participants can choose to attend either a half-day or full-day session.

Malette emphasizes the sessions are for both employers and employees.
