Volunteers in Espanola and the area are receiving invitations to attend a special breakfast to thank them for their work in the community.
Espanola Mayor Jill Beer says the council has extended the invitation to organizations in Espanola not only to enjoy breakfast, but also a trio of special speakers: Sudbury’s Volunteer Coordinator Megan Karchie; Jackie Rivet speaking how Volunteers Saved Her Life and Punya Pandey who developed a new app, Vesa Terra, which focused on climate change.
Beer says the breakfast will be held at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex on Saturday, October 15th starting at 9:30 am.
