Silent Art Auction set to go tomorrow

An online Silent Art Auction is being held this week in support of the Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer.

The Moose 99.3FM CJJM – Espanola has teamed up with the organization to raise funds for local children and their families who need supports not paid for or provided by either government or other organizations.

The auction features original works with artists from throughout the Espanola and North Shore corridor and includes Mary Dillen, Jackie Rivet, Jolene Courtemanche, Rosalyn Andress, Mike Cywink, Theresa Minton, Rosalind Russell, Patricia Drohan-Bordonaba, Shari Commission, Joanne VanAlstine, with vintage pieces donated by Brenda Lynn Lafrance.

Reserve bids range from $20 and up.

The bids will open tomorrow and the auction will run for 48 hours with bids closed on Friday and winners announced on Monday.

Payment can be made via e-transfer to Rosalind Russell of the Moose or by cheque made out to the organization.

September is Childhood Cancer Month in Ontario. Wear the gold, share the bling and help out a great cause!
