Discoloured water could be the result of some testing planned for today in the vicinity of Elliot Lake’s Centennial Arena.
The city states in the release that the annual fire suppression system inspection will take place at the facility today.
As a result, the testing could discolour the water, but will not affect water quality.
Local businesses and residents are asked to run the cold water until the conditions clear since the situation should only be a temporary one.
