There is still time to register for school

School starts next week with most boards in the local area and there is still time to register.

École catholique La Renaissance in Espanola is one such school offering registration for children of all ages.

Board communication director Paul de la Riva says while children born in 2018 will be starting their school adventure this fall, parents can still register those born in earlier years.

He says La Renaissance, like its other schools, offers full special needs program, access to state-of-the-art technology and even an English language program starting in Grade 4 to provide sustainable bilingualism.

There are several boards that serve the districts of Manitoulin, Espanola and Algoma.

The English public-school board is Rainbow District School Board in the Sudbury and Manitoulin Districts; https://www.rainbowschools.ca/ . For the Algoma District, visit the Algoma District School Board at https://www.adsb.on.ca/ .

The French public-school board is Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario at https://grandnord.ca/ .
