Elliot Lake’s incumbent mayor Daniele Marchisella is running for another term.
Marchisella will join incumbent councillor Chris Patrie and newcomer Geraldine Robinson on the ballot.
Tom Turner, Sandy Finamore and Norman Mann, all incumbent councillors, have also thrown their hat into the ring for another term.
A former councillor Tammy Van Roon is also running, as are several newcomers: Richard Laurin, Gary Kirk, Tammy Brown, Bruce Ibbitson, Mike Thomas, Len Kutchaw, Margaret Pollard, Ken Young, Rick Bull and Helen Lebevre.
The deadline to run for council is this Friday at 4 pm to run in the October 24th election.
