Manitoulin Lodge looks for financial support for resident’s programs

Manitoulin Lodge, a senior residence in Gore Bay, is hosting a fundraiser next week to help raise funds for their programs and recreational activities.

Life Enrichment and Volunteer Coordinator, Gloria Hall, says the event is sponsored by their Volunteer Program who is hoping to see the public come out to support the residence.

She says they are having a barbecue and bake sale next Friday in the parking lot from 11 am to 2 pm.

Hall adds Family Tradition will also provide the music and all the proceeds will go towards various activities they host throughout the year for residences from special teas, picnics and even a fishpond.

Donations are also welcome.
