Inquest set for Sudbury man who died on VALE worksite

A date has been set to investigate the death of a Sudbury man who died on a Vale worksite just over five years ago.

North Region Supervising Coroner, Dr. Harry Voogiarv says the inquest into the death Ronald Charles Lepage will be held at the Sudbury courthouse on June 13th.

He says 59-year-old Lepage died in hospital on April 6th, 2017, from injuries sustained while operating a dump truck at the Copper Cliff Refinery in Sudbury adding an inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.

He adds the inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding his death, is expected to last four days and will hear from some ten witnesses.
