The Massey Marathon will not run once again this year.
The marathon had been cancelled due to the pandemic and it was hoped that the event could be organized once again this year.
But volunteer Thomas Crabs-Junkala says they simply do not have the volunteers to be able to organize the event.
Crabs-Junkala adds they are in the process of regrouping and hope to attract volunteers to help with the event next year, which not only includes a full marathon, but also a half-marathon, a five-kilometre and ten-kilometre run.
