Grade eight students carried out a Pay it Forward project by helping seniors.
French Catholic Grade 8 students at Ecole St. Denis in Sudbury have assisted residents of the Walford Retirement Home by beautifying their outdoor spaces.
Communication director Paul de la Riva, says they were unable to visit with the residents due to the covid restrictions, so they extended greetings through the windows and embellished the outside of the residence.
He adds students painted, cleaned and carried out repairs so the residents can enjoy the outdoors in a safe, clean and enhanced environment.
