LU Student General Association elects 2022-2023 leadership

The Student General Association held its annual elections for incoming 2022-2023 leadership at Laurentian University.

Avery Morin, a third-year student in Behavioural Neuroscience and Concurrent Education is the incoming President.

She and other elected student leaders will begin their new roles in June.

Morin says their roles are important in advocating for members, organizing activities and fostering a sense of community among students.

She is also hoping to expand on the new association’s clothing store, Du North, to support their various activities and events.

Morin will be joined by the rest of the executive including Ana Tremblay as Vice President Education: a fourth year History student, minoring in Religious Studies; Emma Lelievre as Vice President Finance; a fourth year Sports Administration student and Olivia Broomer as Vice President Student Life: a fourth year Indigenous Social Work student.
