Regular users of the Black-Creek Sno-Shoe Trails in Espanola are asked to delay their normal morning walk this weekend due to a mock rescue training day.
Volunteer Dennis Lendrum says the North Shore Search and Rescue group is coming in with their teams and vehicles to host a training session this Saturday morning starting a 9 am.
He says trail users are invited to come out at 1 pm instead and meet with the search and rescue team in the picnic table area.
Lendrum adds the trail will open for public access at that time.
