Reunion planned for former Elliot Lake Secondary School

The Elliot Lake Secondary School Reunion Committee has been hard at work putting together a two-day reunion on the long weekend at the end of July.

Committee spokesperson Celine Gauthier, who is part of the graduation class of 1978, lives in Ottawa but has kept in touch with many alumni.

With the pandemic, she says the plans have been able to be put in place through digital platforms.

She enthusiastically says the reunion weekend will begin with a full day of activities at Westview Park on Saturday, July 30th including an arts and crafts silent auction to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society in Elliot Lake at no cost to attendees.

She adds the next day, rounds of golf are available at the city-owned Stone Ridge Golf Course with other activities still in the works, adding over 100 people have already registered.
