‘Saying sorry is not enough’ local area woman looking to new domestic violence program

A woman from the North Shore corridor says she wants to develop a new domestic violence program to help victims.

Breanna Lapierre says the program would include the creation of a retreat where victims could receive group, one-on-one and even spiritual support to help them break away from their abuser and begin to stand on their own.

Lapierre has produced a video sharing her story and hopes more people will step forward to help her move ahead with the program concept that would offer support.

Lapierre can be reached at [email protected] and watch the video at: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?
