Love broomball? Want to play?

An Espanola man would like to see if there are people interested in playing broomball in Espanola.

Dan Deschamps says he wants to bring the sport back to the local area for adults 19 years of age and older adding he has the equipment available.

He says the game will be played indoors at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.

He adds that the cost is only $10 per person and a helmet is mandatory.

Interested individuals are welcome to join in on Thursday, April 14th at 7 pm.

Massey is the unofficial home of Broomball with the first recorded game dating back to 1919 in which the game took place at the current site of the current fairgrounds.
