They did it!
Lure of the North owners Dave and Kielyn Marrone and their ten companions have completed a historical expedition snowshoeing from the shores of Lake Superior to James Bay over the last three months.
Dave says they loaded up their toboggans in Moosonee last night and took the train to Cochrane completing their three-month trip slightly ahead of schedule.
He says one of the biggest reflections of their trip is how much they needed each other and worked well together.
Kielyn says they had little privacy on the trip, and as a result, they came away from their experience as close as family.
The two founded their business to encourage people to fall in love with winter and all it has to offer … both feel this expedition is a highlight of that mission.
