Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School celebrated Epilepsy Awareness Week last week raising funds for Epilepsy Sudbury-Seize.
Principal Andrew Chi says students raised $380 for the organization and held a variety of events to educate and share their knowledge of epilepsy.
He says last Monday, the students held a visit to city hall where they met with Mayor Dan Marchisella who presented them with a special proclamation and raised the Epilepsy Awareness flag.
Chi adds he is especially proud of his students for wearing purple and working so hard to raise the funds throughout the week.
